PROVIDER PROGRAMS

Provider Programs are third-party companies/organizations (providers) that Rowan partner with to offer hundreds of programs to our students. These organizations have been vetted and approved by Rowan University according to their academic, health and safety standards. Provider programs are highly recommended and have maintained reliable services in partnership with Rowan University's International Center for over a decade.

For Provider Programs, Rowan students are not charged Rowan tuition/fees for the term abroad. Students will pay the program provider for the cost of the program. Students are able to use federal aid and loans only on these programs. All courses are listed on the provider's website which will allow you to plan your semester abroad and obtain approval by your Academic Department to earn credit overseas. Providers offer a variety of terms to study abroad: January Term, Spring, Summer, Fall and Academic Year and student can earn up to 17 credits per semester.

Provider programs offer a lot of support both stateside throughout the application process and also abroad during the program. Most of these programs include tuition, housing, some meals, excursions, cultural activities, on-site support, medical insurance and a foreign transcript from your host institution.
